With the warmest season just around the corner, the Liu Jo woman is even more feminine, sophisticated & self-confident and can also choose to be – when it pleases her – ironic in her looks. She decides how to emphasise her own beauty at every social event. It all comes down to attitude.

There are four basic macro trends: Upper class, Unconventional Business woman, Glam city holiday and Travel to Itaca. If we take a group photo, it will feature respectively: a faux leather fringed dress, a long tulle skirt with a punk allure worn with a mini leather biker jacket, a fresh and modern mini dress with floral embroideries in Coquette Powder Pink + White Milk and Black, and a long pleated dress with geometric motifs.

Upper class

The interwoven details are definitely a leitmotif of the collection. Straps and lace effects and faux leather fringes are present in the knitwear, on dresses and jackets. Faux leather is ever present, lurex enriches blouses. Chiffon and silk crêpe de chine are among the materials present. A special feature is the logo visible on belts and handbags which recreates the bottle of Liu Jo perfume, an element that is also present in the Liu Jo Accessories SS2018 Texas range.

Unconventional business woman

Jackets often have a masculine fit or are deconstructed in office and leisure time suits. There’s also a pinch of punk transgression. So, gold piercings are used as fasteners for skirts, trousers and shorts. Everything is balanced by bon ton elements such as pearls. Jewel details stand out in the knitwear. Nylon, tight textured viscose, technical cottons are some of the fabrics present. Stiff tulle is featured on fit & flare dresses and long skirts. Alongside black, there is also White Milk, Berkley Pink and Cappuccino.

Glam city holiday

The mini dresses are flowing and fresh, with bat sleeves that lend an aristocratic elegance. They feature delightful patterns such as Jungle Pink or Primitive Flowers printed on Mikado jacquard or on viscose crêpe marocain. White Milk alternates with Coquette Powder Pink and merge with Berry Red, Shell Coral Pink, Lichen Green and Dark Violet.

Travel to Itaca

The last trend follows the long wave of summer in the colours of Electric Blue, Sand Stone, intense Red Passion and Lemon Yellow. Tops, blouses and long dresses feature geometric stripes and floral motifs, and glide smoothly down the body. Long skirts are pleated, jumpsuits are easy and practical, ideal for parties on the beach.
