This season Maison Scotch takes you on a journey through the rugged landscape of America, the pastel horizon of Miami Beach, over the sandy dunes of the Sahara, and finally to the tranquil waters of the tropics. The mood is free spirited with relaxed silhouettes and natural fabrics. Featuring all your summer favourites from lightweight jackets, flirty shorts and our very first bikini. The prints are brimming with new possibilities such as the range of decadent florals, geometric shapes, and animal spots and stripes. This summer, be bold and mix it all up, no rules apply here except one: have fun! PIONEER SPIRIT Powdery pastels and layers of chiffon meet fringed leather andpressed studs as rugged references of Americana. A soft palette of sky blue, blush and ecru are combined with rock ‘n’ roll shades of black and mars red. Flea market inspired vintage embroidery and white lace sit alongside an engineered bandana print. Throw a black leather jacket over a pretty sheer dress or combine ethnic inspired jacquards with a swirl of ruffles and let romance and rebellion run wild. MIAMI DECO Welcome to Miami Beach. The multi-coloured skyline where art deco buildings line the streets with graceful curves, shiny chrome and terrazzo floors. Architectural influences are infused throughout this collection presenting streamlined silhouettes, fresh pastels and metallic highlights. Decadent florals inspired by vintage wallpaper are combined with geometric shapes as a modern twist on deco style graphics. An element of sportswear is worked in with mesh details, eyelets and varsity artworks to break up the soft colour palette. With its luscious sorbet hues and feminine clean lines Miami Deco is sweet with an added bite. SAHARA SOCIAL Summer swings to a subtropical beat of the Sahara. An eclectic mix of influences such as animal prints and handcrafted embellishments are playfully combined with sporty stripes and mesh. Safari inspired fabrics such as breezy cottons and linens are spiced up with colourful embroideries. Natural dye techniques inspire a palette of burnt orange, amber and olive, while vivid tones of limoncello and flamingo pink break up the earthy hues. Fun and flirty pompom tape, striped ribs and bold print-on-print combinations add a twist to summer favourites. TROPICAL DRIFT The precious days of summer are here. We begin to build memories from souvenirs collected from far-flung places, inspired by sandy beaches, blue waters and vibrant exotic blooms. The palette is a fresh bohemian mix of white, lemon and pacific blue with bursts of hot pink.
