RETRO RESORT
As inspiration for spring windows of Scotch & Soda brand, as part of their collection for spring/summer 2014, Retro resort served as theme, as well as prints of vintage furniture fabrics that their design team found in Williamsburg. Retro American decor and classic decor colors as well as fifties of the last century are light motives of this concept. Principal prints, and use the attractive natural materials. In terms of the color palette, it is dominated by the theme of retro resort nostalgic as the sun faded tones of pink, fresh papaya, mint, green and electric blue.
BATIK SURF
Surf Batik motifs are inspired by a trip to Tokyo and Los Angeles, where their design team met with the original batik designs on vintage kimono and carrying baskets. These motifs were given special original Scotch & Soda colors like lizard green, turquoise and earth tones in contrast with sunny hues. Inspired by the cool surf kids of Los Angeles, the line has enriched light yellow accents, contrasting with zippers with plenty of new hi-tech materials that whole collection gives a modern twist.
