For SS19, we journey back to the summer of ’76 and to the perfect Scotch getaway — a homely yet exotic hotel named the ‘House of Perfect Strangers’. This charming, buzzy place hosts creative types from all corners of the globe. A wonderful, curated chaos that encourages the mingling and mixing of ideas over long dinners with once strangers, now friends. Each room of the hotel offering the different vacation views from which we start our summer of discovery.

Raffia Town combines the rough glamour of the seventies with the peace of an old fishing village. The silhouette is easy going and summery. Texture derived from raffia and other natural weaves playing a dominant role. This is streetwear with an Amalfi coast vibe; old school meets new – at once nonchalant and tailored. Think of a check pant paired with a sportswear jacket with tropical artwork. The colours? Soft yellow, dark green, light blue arid clear red.

Bamboo Beach is typified by the buzz of a seventies beach. Tropical uniforms and their various street translations the headlining theme. This is luxe streetwear with modern and unique accents. Key pieces include the vintage look Hawaii shirt worn loose over a bermuda for an effortless summer look. Bamboo beach colours are bold — think brightest magenta, neon yellow, fuschia and tropical blue, mixed with pastel tones.

Scuba meets street is the essence of Palm Cove; pieces with a relaxed, post surf vibe. The colours? A closet of Rainbow Brights.
